Fishmonger – days/nights rotating shifts

We are looking for experienced Fishmongers who can enhance our friendly expert team to be part of our growth.  This is a “blockman / lady” role and experience in a similar setting is key.

Day to day duties for our Fishmongers:

  • Working as a key part of an excellent production team in a small factory environment you will fillet, portion and prepare a wide variety of seafood to the highest standard as the customer and business requires.
  • Work with production managers to ensure our processes work effectively and in accordance with all required company and industry standards

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Night shift working experience essential
  • Familiar with a wide range of species and their preparation.

We are committed to continuous development and enhancing product knowledge in this role. We will provide all PPE and equipment needed.

Hours:  45 hours per week, 5 shifts per week. Rotating days / nights. 3 weeks of days / 2 weeks of nights. 0500 – 1430 Mon – Fri & 2200 – 0730 Sun – Fri

Salary: £24,500 – £26,900 dependant on skills & experience
